SYNOPSIS
Brothers & Sisters is a drama series that surrounds a big family, the Walkers, consisting of a mother and her five adult children. In its very first episode the father, William Walker, played by Tom Skerritt, dies in a pool accident and the family is left to cope with his untimely death. Little do they know that he was having an affair for over 10 years and had a daughter with his mistress, Holly Harper, played by Patricia Wettig. In addition, the company now left into the hands of the two oldest children, Tommy and Sarah, played by Balthazar Getty and Rachel Griffiths, is in debt because of money problems that only their father knew about. Sally Field, who won an Emmy for her role as the mother, Nora Walker, is the glue that keeps this family together throughout all the turmoil and drama this family faces. Nora is the kind of mother that cares deeply about her children and wants to be a part of their life maybe too much.
